Preparing the Maths Garden for the new school year

At the end of the school year or at the beginning of the new school year, there is a couple of actions that you need to be perform to prepare the Maths Garden for the new school year.

If all went well, all of your children will have moved up to the next grade. In this step-by-step manual you are guided through the process of entering the alterations.

Moving up all your children one grade

Your children will probably have moved up a grade after the summer holiday. It is important that you use this function, since the grade of the child is used for the calculations in the results section. If you do not update the grade of your child every year, you will get an inaccurately positive picture of your child, since the results are mirrored to the results of the children from the same grade.

After this step, you can put back a child who has to repeat a class to the correct grade.

Click Administration in the menu.

A dropdown menu will now appear.

Choose Users from the dropdown menu.

You will now see the Players screen, like in the image below.

Below the players-table you will find two buttons:

New Player and Change All Players’ Grades.

Click on Change All Players’ Grades

You will now see the Change All Players’ Grades, like in the image below.

Choose +1 grade from the dropdown menu and then click OK.

Your children have now been moved up a grade, like in the image below.

If you subsequently want to move down a child who has to repeat a class, click the Edit button in the players-table in the column of the child who has to repeat a class.

Enter the correct grade for the child in the dropdown menu at Grade.
